My research focuses on the determination of the maternal genes and gene products involved in sperm-egg interactions during gonad development and fertilization. I am also interested in the biological effect(s) of the salmon testis extracts (nucleic acids and nucleic proteins), hyaluronic acid,  chondroitin sulfate, collagen  and other substances that have long been used as additive nutrients in  supplements for cell proliferation, embryonic development, and the progression of human disease in animal models (fish and mammals).
